1983 Ford Fairmont Futura, Barn Find 
· only 75,000 miles

’83 Fairmont Futura that sat for 17 years and is now back on the road. A true survivor with a clean, original feel — these don’t come around often.

Runs and drives strong — I’ve had it cruising 65–70 mph on the highway with no issues. Fresh oil change and new fuel filter just done.

Interior is a 10/10 — very clean.  

The not-so-perfect:
* Dent in driver’s door
   - maybe you can get it pushed out
* Transmission will need a service soon
    - will drive fine and will prove that it has all 3 gears (filter can start to gum up every now and then I can tell) 

Overall, this is a solid, running classic with tons of character. Just needs a good once over. Drive it as-is, clean it up more, or take it to the next level as a sleeper project.

Save yourself the time with lowball offers, i will simply ignore. This car has been fully gone through and is reliable. Just had all the wiring in the entire car redone and this is my price. 
- Carb rebuild Holley
- New alternator/wires
- New Battery
- New electical
- New battery
- fuel system
- tune-up

The bad:

-Slight crack in windshield but not leaking

-Gas gauge does not work

-2 inch tear in vinyl top

New battery and connectors, water pump, hoses, alternator and a tune was just completed

All original excellent condition, all lights work properly. No tear in leather. No cracks in dash and still have the original dash sticker
